Stepping into Mermaid Cottage Teignmouth by the beach was like stepping into a fairytale. the charming 19th-century building exuded character and history, making our stay all the more magical. the cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, from the cozy sitting area to the fully equipped kitchen with modern amenities. One of the highlights of our stay was the pet-friendly amenities that were available, allowing us to bring along our furry companion on our holiday. the garden and terrace provided stunning river views, perfect for relaxing with a cup of tea in hand. the free WiFi throughout the property was a nice touch, keeping us connected to the outside world while still feeling like we were in a secluded paradise. We made use of the barbecue facilities in the garden, enjoying delicious meals under the clear blue sky. the proximity to Cherry Red Cove Beach, just 2.9 km away, was a bonus, allowing us to easily access the sandy shores for a day of sun and surf. Overall, our experience at Mermaid Cottage Teignmouth by the beach was nothing short of perfect. the warm and welcoming atmosphere, combined with the impeccable amenities and stunning surroundings, made our stay truly unforgettable. We will definitely be returning to this hidden gem on our next adventure to Exeter International Airport, just 35 km away.
